Beautiful wedding

This is the first time that I had the opportunity to photograph in this area above the Maui Tropical Plantation.  The ride thru the pineapple fields thru the dusty road was very steep.  Earlier in the day the location was covered in rain clouds, but during the event, the weather was perfect.  The bride Randi is the sister of the bride that I photographed earlier this year.  Both beautiful brides.  The reception was at the Tropical plantation.  Another very nice decorated venue.   I really enjoyed the families hospitality and the great wedding party.

Christmas photos

One of my favorite clients came up with another great idea for her Christmas card photo.  The shave ice stand in Lahaina allowed us to use their store front for the session.

Matsuo family

I think the twins were about 1 month old in these photos.  Cute as could be.  We will make some Black and White prints from a few of them.   Love this job.

Kimonos and Kittens

I love it when I have the opportunity of photographing my daughter.  And it gets even better when she dresses up in Mom’s Kimono.  Today Jessica and her best friend Kelsey took the time (long time) to get dressed for the session.   Some 4 week old kittens kept running thru the set and kept the energy level high for the photos.  I thought the girls looked so lovely posing with the different props.  Both girls love the Japanese culture.

Mini Miss Maui 2011

This pageant was sooooo fun to watch.  The little girls were very entertaining with their talent and beautiful evening attire.   One of the girls wanted to grow up and be the tooth fairy.  Can it get any better than that?  I believe there were 27 girls in this pageant aged from 3 to 12 years old.  The MC’s did a fabulous job.

The Best of the Eisenberg family 2011

Was happy to work with the Eisenberg family for the umtenth time.   This year we did the Senior portraits for Ian.   He loves to perform on stage and one of his favorite characters is Nathan Lane.

New property in Makena Maui

It was nice to be in Makena again on this new property.   The ocean is the backdrop for the ceremony and just down the street is a nice beach for photos.  The couple were from Southern California and shared their day with about 20-30 guest.

Miss Maui

Here is one of the young ladies competing in the upcoming pageant.

Jewel vow renewal

Ten years after the Jewel’s were married on Maui at the Grand Wailea, they returned again to renew their vows.  Attending were the brides parents, sister, and the children.   The kids were great for taking photos.  So willing to do as I asked.  (They also brought their own modeling talents).   The sunset was beautiful and the winds died down for the evening.  Bro Al Terry performed the ceremony again too.

Mr. Maui and family comes to the studio

Brandon saw me at the baseball game this past week and told me that he needed a family portrait.  His kids were soooo funny.  The son loved football, and the daughter just like posing for the camera.  The youngest was chasing the dog.   Brandon served in the military over in Iraq and is also a local Police officer.
